'Cat in the Hat' tops box office again

HOLLYWOOD, Nov. 30 (UPI) -- Universal's "The Cat in the Hat" topped the U.S. box office again adding $25.5 million its $78 million box office, reported boxofficemojo.com.

Disney's "The Haunted Mansion" grossed $35 million in its debut week.

In its third week, "Elf," distributed by New Line added $22 million to its $130 million box office.

"Gothika," distributed by Warner Brothers, added $12 million to its $41 million box office.

"Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World," distributed by Fox, added $12.7 million to its

$67 million box office.

In its premier week, Dimension's "Bad Santa" grossed $17 million, Sony/Revolution's "The Missing" grossed $16.5 million and Paramount's "Timeline" grossed $12.6 million.

Universal's "Love Actually" added $8 million to its $44 million, while Disney's "Brother Bear" added $4.8 million to its $78 million box office.
