, Calif., Nov. 22 (UPI) -- Celebrity chef Rocco DiSpirito joined four others at The Four Seasons to prepare a meal for two Spanish superstar chefs, but later stormed out.
When members of a camera crew from DiSpirito's reality television show "The Restaurant," on NBC showed up The Four Seasons co-owner Julian Niccolini tossed them out.
"I'm running a real restaurant here and we're going to focus on serving great food to nice people, not on a TV show," he told the New York Post.
Niccolini reportedly threatened to call the police when DiSpirito persisted in lobbying for the shoot, the Post said.
DiSpirito then angrily stormed out of the restaurant.
"I was happily volunteering my time and food for The Four Seasons and two chefs for whom I have the utmost respect," DiSpirito told the Post. "Several TV crews were admitted. Mine were not allowed in by Julian."
