NEW YORK, Nov. 13 (UPI) -- ESPN says it is developing a reality show with former basketball bad-boy Dennis Rodman, the Wall Street Journal reported Thursday.
Rodman, 42, has been out of the National Basketball Association since 2000. In recent months he has crashed a motorcycle, been jailed briefly for public drinking and begun seeing an alcohol counselor, according to published reports.
Rodman's agent, Darren Prince, said an independent producer who once worked for the NBA's entertainment division has been following "Dennis and myself and his little entourage of assistants and bodyguards" for four months.
Prince said the program is tentatively titled "Rodman on the Rebound" and is scheduled to be shown in two one-hour episodes, the first on Dec. 4. The show will focus on Rodman's "comeback in the NBA and his comeback in life. It's going to be one of the hottest shows on TV."
ESPN is majority owned by the Disney Corp.
