PASADENA, Calif., Oct. 31 (UPI) -- Filming is under way for the "American Idol" Christmas special at a Pasadena, Calif., theater and producers are making it a bit warm for photographers.

The camera jockeys have been given permission to snap Ruben Studdard, Clay Aiken and Kelly Clarkson's staged holiday frolics but only if they agree to let "Idol" bosses dictate when the pictures are published and turn over copies so they can be used for promotion if desired.

Photogs also have to sign an pledge not to reveal any "confidential information" they might learn while on the set.
