Banderas, Zeta-Jones up for 'Zorro' sequel

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 31 (UPI) -- Antonio Banderas and Catherine Zeta-Jones are set to reprise their roles in a sequel to "The Mask of Zorro."

Variety said Sony is looking toward a 2004 start with with Martin Campbell returning as director. Anthony Hopkins also is considered likely for an encore.

Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman have done the script.

Zeta-Jones is coming off "Intolerable Cruelty" and Banderas just starred in the Broadway revival of musical, "Nine."
