Megan Mullally married in secret ceremony

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 22 (UPI) -- Megan Mullally of "Will and Grace" didn't take home any hardware at Sunday's Emmy Awards but she did get something: a husband.

Extra confirmed Mullally surprised her friends and family -- even her mother -- by marrying fiance Nick Offerman in a private ceremony Saturday night.

Shelley Morrison, who plays Rosario on the sitcom, told Extra Mullally's mother flew to Los Angeles to attend the Emmys and learned her daughter was getting married.

"All of a sudden, they're getting married and mama is hugging me saying, 'Can you believe it? Can you believe it?'" Morrison said.

Mullally, 44, met Offerman, 32, more than three years ago when both were cast in a play in Los Angeles.

Morrison didn't reveal any details about the honeymoon but said Mullally and the rest of the cast are scheduled to be back at work Wednesday.
