LONDON, Sept. 4 (UPI) -- Heather Mills McCartney wants to turn her name into a trademark -- and perhaps start her own cosmetics line, the London Mirror said Thursday.
The wife of former Beatle Paul McCartney also wants to use her married name to promote a line of artificial limbs in the United States. Her application to the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office says she may also give her name to beauty products later.
A spokeswoman for the anti-landmine campaigner, who lost a leg in a road crash, said the prosthetics idea was not for profit.
Any move by Heather, 35, to create her own fragrance could mean a clash with Sir Paul's fashion designer daughter, Stella.
She is rumored to dislike her stepmother and is due to launch her own perfume, called Stella, later this month.
