NASHVILLE, Sept. 2 (UPI) --
Country music singer John Anderson
was released Tuesday from a Charleston, W.Va., hospital after suffering a heart attack.
Anderson had experienced chest pains before he was to perform at the Charleston Sternwheel Regatta Saturday night and was taken to the hospital where he underwent angioplasty to open a coronary artery blockage.
Doctors predicted the double-platinum selling singer would make a full recovery. After a week's rest, he is expected to resume his touring schedule.
