LOS ANGELES, June 27 (UPI) -- "Let's Make a Deal" host Monty Hall will be feted July 1 during Canada Day festivities at the Los Angeles residence of Colin Robertson, Canada's consul general for California.

At that time, the Lt. Gov. Peter Liba of Manitoba province will present Hall, formerly of Winnipeg, with an "Insignia" noting his induction into the Order of Manitoba.

The acknowledgement recognizes "excellence and achievement leading to the improving of the social, cultural and economic well-being of Manitoba and its residents."

A major focus of this year's celebration is to promote the province's film and television industry to the movers and shakers of Hollywood.
