LOS ANGELES, June 19 (UPI) -- Larry Kasanoff's Threshold Entertainment has optioned the rights to the best-selling book "Only Love is Real" by past-life regression therapist Dr. Brian Weiss.
Weiss is also the author of the international best-seller "Many Lives, Many Masters."
Kasanoff ("True Lies," "Mortal Kombat") will produce the romantic comedy, which follows two strangers being regressed by a therapist who are unaware they have been lovers throughout the centuries. The movie portrays soul mates whose lives have been intertwined throughout history, but who have not yet met in this lifetime -- until their therapist makes the connection.
"I've always been fascinated by reincarnation and the idea of true soul mates. After meeting Brian Weiss, I found the perfect partner and source to tell the ultimate story of lovers united through time. His books makes you feel great and that's what I want this movie to do," Kasanoff said.
