Iran to supply gas to Armenia
This time the BWEA has asked government leaders to support wind energy in the wording of the European Union's renewables directive.
In a news release, the BWEA announced it supports the new directive, which includes a duty on member states to introduce priority access for renewable energy sources.
The BWEA said the U.K. government needs to provide ways for the wind industry to be granted additional, reliable transmission in a timely manner.
Officials said the directive is good, and while they support it, the situation in the United Kingdom is different from that on the mainland and calls for more specific action to allow more reliable transmission.
