Vestas Wind Systems A/S said in an announcement it has been awarded a contract from an undisclosed U.S. company to provide 44 wind turbines for a wind power project.

Vestas is one of the most successful wind power engineering firms in the world. Companies around the world have installed more than 35,000 Vestas turbines.

The contract includes a five-year service and maintenance agreement in addition to the turbines, according to Nordic Business Report. The monetary details of the deal were not released.
