The World Oil Outlook 2007 says production growth in the Caspian region will boost world energy supplies by 1.5 million barrels in the coming years, the Trend Capital News Agency said Monday.

"Export growth from the Caspian region will be achieved mainly through Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan," the report said.

The analysis by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries says output from the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli field will boost production values from Azerbaijan, with Kazakhstan realizing substantial growth in the Buzachi, Karachagank and Tengiz fields.

Looking further ahead, the study says non-OPEC countries' supplies will drop off to around 5 million barrels per day by 2030, while OPEC nations will reach 49 million barrels per day by then.
