The people of Iraq become more optimistic when the Iraqi government is strict and offers no chance to the outlaws to create chaos. They become more hopeful when they sense crime is in decline.

The Iraqi people request that the government focus on the entire country as its first priority, instead of only Baghdad or the Green Zone, the daily al-Mashriq newspaper said Friday.

Some parties don't want the Iraqi government to be strong

In situations in which the Iraqi government hesitates to send military forces to areas of instability, the Iraqi people view the government as powerless. The government is the party that takes care of people during good times and bad, and mistrust by the people means not only that the government is weak but also that it has deformities.

A weak Iraqi government is not in the interest of the people. Iraqis who request strength from the Iraqi government need to demand a powerful government. For its part, the Iraqi government has to be liberated from the interests of individuals. In order to be successful, the leader of Iraq must be a son of Iraq, and not a certain party.

Average Iraqis become strong when they are convinced the government has the capacity to protect them from danger. The government, for its part, becomes stable when the law serves the role of the main authority.

Many groups and parties fund terrorists, especially for their operations in the Middle East and the Arab world. Without funds, it becomes impossible for terrorists to continue their attacks.

Terrorism is divided into three kinds: the terrorism of governments, the religious, and the ideological and secular, the Baghdad-based daily al-Taakhi newspaper said.

Banks of terrorism

The terrorism of a government is the type initiated by weak countries that want to perform what powerful countries are able to achieve diplomatically. Involvement of such countries in terrorism is due to the inability to carry out "classical" wars against their enemies.

Religious terrorism is the type that uses widespread violence. This terrorism is characterized by the use of religion to lend legitimacy to terrorist attacks. That is to say, terrorism attacks and crimes are "legitimized" by linking them to the will of God, prohibit development and create dependency on religious statements, or fatwas.

Ideological and secular terrorism is similar to the religious one. The only difference is, instead of using religious legitimacy, it uses concepts of revolution, socialism and justice to defend its crimes. This kind of terrorism was used by the Soviet Union against the people it ruled. It was certainly used by the Arab dictatorship during the time of Gamal Abdel Nasser of Egypt and the Baath Party in Iraq and Syria.

The ways in which to drain the rivers of terrorism is to carry out international and regional operations to destroy the cultural, educational, social and psychological infrastructure of terrorism. The deed requires an immense Western cultural revolution to influence the public in countries where terrorism appears.

Conditions established by both the Iraqi and U.S. governments to pass the long-term strategic agreement vary. The private security company Blackwater USA and demands to make it accountable to Iraqi law are one of the major points of contention.

One of the issues under negotiation with the U.S. side is that U.S. forces withdraw from Iraq after five years of occupation that resulted in the killing, displacement and poverty of thousands of people, the independent Shabab al-Iraq news service said Friday.

The withdrawal of U.S. forces is the most serious obstacle

Iraqi society has begun to fracture. Shiites and Sunnis, who are led by political parties, have asked the help of regional powers for support, and are split. Walls separating the city into Sunni and Shiite areas divide Baghdad.

In one of the worst times in the history of Iraq, U.S. forces killed thousands of innocent Iraqis through their battles against al-Qaida and outlaw militias. In the meantime, parties that dominate the Iraqi government and Parliament are involved in robbing and stealing the wealth of the Iraqi people.

The U.S. presence in Iraq has led to the killing and dividing of the Iraqi people in addition to creating conditions in which political parties can steal their wealth. Thus, their presence contributes to their suffering and devastation. With the absence of the U.S. forces, Iraqis with all sects and ethnic groups will be together again as the Iraqi parties that the United States support will be dismissed.

However, it is unclear whether the Iraqi government and Parliament would insist on the withdrawal of U.S. forces and sign economic contracts to revive Iraq. It is possible that they would aim to keep these forces in Iraqi so that they continue stealing.
