NEW DELHI, April 3 (UPI) -- Indian police said they busted a training camp run by the banned Student Islamic Movement of India in Madhya Pradesh state Wednesday.

The group was training rebels near a popular vacation spot about 30 kilometers from the industrial town of Indore, police said.

The police said the camp was located following a week of interrogation by Madhya Pradesh police and federal investigating agencies of 13 alleged SIMI leaders who were arrested early this week. They told interrogators about the existence of SIMI's women's wing called Shaheen Force.
