NEW DELHI, Feb. 12 (UPI) -- Indian police said they prepared a portrait of militant leader Abu Hamza who allegedly carried out a deadly attack on the Indian Institute of Science in 2005.

Police in Bangalore said Tuesday they had prepared a portrait of the Pakistani national who has been accused to carrying out the attack on the institute. The police have taken it to Lucknow to confirm his role in the attack.

A city police official said the portrait would be shown to Mohammad Sabahuddin, an alleged Lashkar-e-Toiba operative now in police custody. Sabahuddin had revealed that Hamza was behind the Dec. 28, 2005, attack that killed a professor and left four people injured.
