SRA International to compete for DHS work

SRA International has won an EAGLE II program contract, becoming eligible to compete to provide the U.S. Department of Homeland Security with information technology services.

FAIRFAX, Va., Aug. 4 (UPI) -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has given SRA International a prime position contract to provide information technology services.

Under the Enterprise Acquisition Gateway for Leading Edge Solutions II, or EAGLE II, program, SRA will compete for work in the contract's Functional Category I area -- system design, development, implementation, and integration, software design and development, and operations and maintenance.

The cumulative value of all contracts in this multiple award procurement is established at $22 billion.

"SRA has supported the U.S. national security mission for over 30 years and we have been a mission partner with the Department of Homeland Security since the agency's inception," said George Batsakis, executive vice president of SRA's National Security Group. "We are proud to continue providing DHS with innovative information technology services and solutions critical to ensuring the safety and security of our nation."

SRA said its main team for performing DHS tasks include Henkels & McCoy Inc. and Wildflower International, Ltd. Others involved are Best Value Technology Inc.; COACT Inc; Command Decisions Systems & Solutions Inc.; Competitive Innovations LLC; Crystal Management LLC; Innovative Analytics and Training LLC; MicroSys LLC; S4 Inc.; Stanfield Systems Inc.; Sure Secure Solutions; and Tiger Team Consulting LLC.
