Stanley to support MCNOSC

ARLINGTON, Va., Nov. 5 (UPI) -- The U.S. Marine Corps has contracted Stanley Inc. to provide technology support for the Marine Corps Enterprise Network.

U.S. company Stanley was awarded a five-year, $119 million contract by the Marine Corps Network Operations and Security Center. Under the deal, Stanley will support the information technology infrastructure consolidation effort of the Marine Corps Enterprise Network's Secret Internet Protocol Routed Network.

Stanley officials say they also will provide MCNOSC, the Marine Corps' global computer network support arm, with new Internet-based response initiatives.

"We are honored to continue our support of the Marine Corps with this mission-critical effort," Amy Ygbuhay, Stanley vice president, said in a statement.

"We look forward to integrating our capabilities within the current MCNOSC environment and providing the Marine Corps with outstanding integrity, reliability and availability of the network."
