WASHINGTON, Sept. 26 (UPI) -- Lockheed Martin and Boeing have each received $43 million U.S. Navy contracts for work on the MQ-25 Stingray aircraft carrier drone program.

Both cost-plus-fixed-free contracts will conduct risk reduction activities in support of the system, including refinement of concepts and development of trade space for requirements generation in advance of the engineering and manufacturing development phase of the program.
