Oshkosh Defense gets $17 million foreign military trailer contract

Deal covers trailers, spares and manuals for Oman, Jordan and Iraq.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 23 (UPI) -- Oshkosh Defense has been awarded a $17 million contract to provide foreign military customers with trailers.

The firm-fixed-price, multi-year contract will provide Omar, Jordan and Iraq with 54 635NL trailers, spare parts and manuals.

Work will be performed in Wisconsin. The estimated completion date is April 2018.

Army Contracting Command is the contracting activity.
