BAE receives $14 million Bradley vehicle contract modification

Modification covers support of the U.S. Army's family of Bradley vehicles.

WASHINGTON, Sept. 6 (UPI) -- BAE Systems Land and Armaments LP has received a $14 million U.S. Army contract modification for support on the Bradley family of vehicles.

The deal covers system technical support and sustainment system technical support for the fighting vehicle.

Work will be performed in California.

The estimated completion date is July 2020.

The Army Contracting Command is the contracting activity.

BAE's Bradley Fighting Vehicle is an integral part of the Army's armored brigade combat team that provides survivability, mobility and lethality.

BAE Systems has acted as the manufacturer and systems integrator of the Bradley program for more than 30 years, including conducting various upgrades based on customer needs and mission requirements.
