ST. LOUIS, April 10 (UPI) -- Boeing reports its acquisition of 2d3 Sensing, a software and services company, to strengthen the image processing capabilities of its unmanned aircraft.
2d3 Sensing, located in California, was a subsidiary of Britain's OMG plc. It's expertise is motion imagery processing of intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance data generated from aerial platforms. The company's products and services are used by the U.S. Air Force and found on the ScanEagle and Integrator unmanned systems from Boeing's subsidiary, Insitu.
