Marine Corps taps Cubic Applications for training support services

The U.S. Marine Corps program to train senior personnel for joint and/combined task force training events is to receive support services from Cubic Applications under a three-year contract.

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 30 (UPI) -- Support services for functional and technical training are to be provided to the U.S. Marine Corps by Cubic Applications Inc. under a $46.5 million contract.

The award was issued by the U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command in support the USMC Marine Air Ground Task Force Training Systems Support effort.

The Marine Training System Support program provides the training necessary for USMC senior staff personnel to plan, prepare and execute individual, unit and staff training events within the context of a joint or combined task force environment.

Under the three-year contract, Cubic Applications will provide support for warfighting skills training, command post exercises, battle staff training and mission rehearsal exercises.

Support will also be provided in the area of C4 mobile training and combat simulation -- from individual training up to and including joint and combined staffs.
