A-T Solutions continues counter-IED work

A blanket purchase agreement from the U.S. General Services Administration allows A-T Solutions to continue work for the military in helping counter improvised explosive devices.

WASHINGTON, April 23 (UPI) -- A-T Solutions Inc., a counter-terrorism solutions firm, has been given an award to continue support for U.S. efforts to counter improvised explosive devices.

Under a competitively awarded General Services Administration blanket purchase agreement, the company will provide program management and support in the counter-IED training, training analysis support, institutionalization of lessons learned and short-term ad hoc training needs for the Joint Counter-IED Integration Training Program of the Department of Defense’s Joint Improvised Explosive Device Defeat Organization.

Three other companies were awarded the blanket purchase agreement, which is for five years and which carries a value of as much as $408 million.

“A-T Solutions is extremely honored to have this opportunity to continue our partnership with JIEDDO in providing essential training and support services,” said Dennis Kelly, president and chief executive officer of A-T Solutions. “The JCITP contract allows A-T Solutions to continue providing expertise to enable the development and propagation of new operational tactics, techniques and procedures, implementation of current and relevant training to bridge operational gaps, and support testing of new counter-IED equipment and concepts.”

A-T Solutions is based in Vienna, Va.
