MCLEAN, Va., April 11 (UPI) -- SAIC is to provide a range of training support services for the program offices of the U.S. Navy’s Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific.

The multiple award, an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle, has a three-year period of performance. Its cost-plus-fixed-fee total value is $35 million. Under the award, shared with three others, SAIC will compete for task orders to support SSC Pacific’s Training Development and Support Center offices.

"We are pleased to continue to provide training support to fleet sailors and SSC Pacific on new and legacy systems,” said Tom Watson, senior vice president of Science Applications International Corporation’s Navy and Marine Corps Group. “This enables fleet users to be prepared to effectively operate and troubleshoot critical systems for the U.S. Navy.”

SSC Pacific is the U.S. Navy's lead organization for integrated command, control, computers, communications, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance technologies.

SAIC said work under the award would primarily be performed in San Diego, Calif.
