U.S. and Israeli companies have partnered to supply electric motors, alternators, missile flight actuators and other equipment to the U.S. military. The agreement between RIX Industries and Bental Motion Systems of Israel provides for a cooperative effort to take existing Bental components and sub-systems and manufacture these products in the U.S. to create a U.S.-based supplier for aerospace components. The manufacture of U.S.-made products will begin in 18-24 months but RIX can market Bental products beginning this month.

“The agreement provides for a cooperative effort to take existing Bental components and sub-systems and manufacture these products in the U.S., thereby creating a U.S. based supplier for these critically important aerospace components,” RIX Industries said. “RIX and Bental will continue to cooperate on new designs, and will maintain two separate workforces for this effort, thereby ensuring the appropriate international separation required for some defense requirements.”
