Northrop honors 24 suppliers

MCLEAN, Va., Dec. 9 (UPI) -- A dozen companies providing support to Northrop Grumman's Information Systems sector have been honored for their work.

Northrop said the Supplier Excellence Awards, part of its annual Supplier Recognition Program, were in categories such as development, production, services and socio-economics.

Among the recipients awarded last week -- chosen from a list of more than 5,000 suppliers -- were 15 small businesses. Six of them are owned by women and four are veteran-owned.

Those presented with the Supplier Excellence Award were Alltech International LLC, Atmospheric and Environmental Research, CACI International Inc., CGS Administrators LLC, COLSA Corp., Computer Network Solutions LLC, Cornet Technology Inc., JAS and Associates LLC, Knowledge Systems LLC, DRS Network and Imaging Systems, Harris Corp., and Intelligent Automation Inc.

Winners also included L-3 Mission Integration Division, Lexmark International Inc., Marzen Group LLC, Meadowgate Technologies LLC, NGTS Airborne Systems Integration Center, SEAFARER International, SYSTOLIC Inc., Tanager Inc., TrustedQA Inc., Virginia Systems and Technology Inc., XaBit Technologies Inc., and Zivko Aeronautics Inc.
