CACI reports intel community contracts

ARLINGTON, Va., Aug. 1 (UPI) -- CACI International reports it received intelligence-related contracts worth more than $425 million in its fiscal year 2013, which ended in June.

The previously unannounced awards came from U.S. government clients in the intelligence community and were for tailored information solutions and services in the areas such as intelligence analysis, enterprise network operations, counterintelligence support and cyber analytics.

"CACI sustains a thriving Intelligence Community business by delivering outstanding performance on our contracts and providing innovative solutions that enable our customers to keep pace with emerging national threats," said John Mengucci, CACI's chief operating officer and president of U.S. Operations. "Our solutions and services help fuel efficiency and effectiveness in critical intelligence mission areas."

CACI, citing the classified nature of the programs for which it was contracted, provided no additional details on the award, which it said "advance the company's position in its high-volume intelligence market area."

"Our many contracts supporting the intelligence community recognize the power and relevance of CACI's integrated intelligence capabilities within the most demanding and sensitive security domains," said CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Ken Asbury.

"CACI's intelligence business continues to be an important part of our focus on providing mission-critical solutions that help safeguard and defend America's national security."
