The facility of General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems in Healdsburg was designed using "clean room" production standards of the U.S. Missile Defense Agency.

"This operations expansion reinforces our commitment to serve the missile defense industry using innovative technology combined with a proven and reliable production capability."
General Dynamics Ordnance and Tactical Systems supplies advanced electro-mechanical actuation systems to the U.S. military and a number of U.S. defense contractors. It also produces large-, medium- and small-caliber direct and indirect-fire munitions, mortar weapons and systems, artillery projectiles, bomb bodies and Ball Powder Propellant.
