The contract is for a sixth production lot of the active electronically scanned array radars, but details on price and delivery were not disclosed.
The APG-63(V)3 AESA radar is an all-weather, multi-mode radar for extended range tracking and precision engagement for the F-15C.
"We have been a partner on the F-15 for more than 40 years," said Mark Kula, vice president of Tactical Airborne Systems for Raytheon's Space and Airborne Systems business. "This recent contract enables continued delivery of our APG-63(V)3 AESA radar that provides unprecedented situational awareness for the U.S. Air Force and Air National Guard."
Raytheon said it received the original AESA radar contract from Boeing in 2007 as part of the F-15C upgrade program. More than 46 radar systems have been delivered so far. Under Lot 6, Raytheon will also supply spares and modification kits.
