Firms integrate cybersecurity products

WALTHAM, Mass., May 7 (UPI) -- Two U.S. companies involved in cybersecurity have integrated products for real-time advanced malicious activity reporting.

General Dynamics Fidelis Cybersecurity Solutions said it integrated its network security solution, Fidelis XPS, with QRadar, IBM's security information and event management product.

"As we continue to help our customers defend their networks from complex, advanced threats, we look to leverage innovative tools and technologies that will work together with our products to combat the most prevalent risk -- cyber adversaries that are using the network to compromise the enterprise," said Tom Lyons, vice president of product management at General Dynamics Fidelis Cybersecurity Solutions.

"This product collaboration with the highly flexible, scalable and easy-to-deploy IBM QRadar provides customers with an enhanced understanding of the threats on their network through the real-time reporting of activities and events.

"This valuable insight allows customer to quickly act on threats and defend their enterprise, protecting valuable data from leaving the network," he said.

The next-generation Fidelis XPS gives customers network visibility, analysis and control over all ports and all channels to prevent the possibility of a data breach on multi-gigabit-speed networks. IBM Q!Radar allows access the Fidelis XPS console to gather more information and act on the threat.
