Included is construction of a training facility for the Kuwait air force through a contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
The training facility will be at Al Mubarak Air Base in Kuwait. It will be a two-bay training facility a housing KC-130J full-mission simulator that CAE is under contract to design and manufacture for the Kuwait air force.
CAE said that under a Foreign Military Sales deal of the U.S. Navy it will develop an MH-60R avionics maintenance trainer and weapons load trainer for the Australian navy. CAE USA will be the prime contractor responsible for the design and manufacture of the MH-60R AMT/WLT.
The MH-60R AMT/WLT will provide transition and readiness training for MH-60R avionics technicians. The system will also feature the capability for instruction in ammunition and ordnance loading for the helicopter.
Another contract was an exercised option from Lockheed Martin for the design and manufacture an additional C-130J weapon systems trainer for the U.S. Air Force as part of the C-130J Maintenance and Aircrew Training System Phase II program.
The system, for Little Rock Air Force Base, will be used by the U.S. Air Force Air Mobility Command for initial qualification, refresher and distributed mission training and will be delivered in 2016.
Under another Air Force award, CAE will perform operations and maintenance support for KC-135 Boom Operator Weapon Systems Trainers as part of the KC-135 aircrew training system program.
