The Air Force contract given Boeing is worth $3 million and covers the systems design, development, delivery, training and sustainment. If all options were exercised, the contract value would be more than $100 million.
The Line of Sight-Short will provide improved target detection, recognition, laser designation and friendly fire avoidance capabilities. It will support the Air Force's Battlefield Air Operations Kit Program.

"LOS-S provides the Air Force intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance and targeting in one easy-to-use, lightweight, hand-held device."
