The award from NASA, worth about $65 million, is a firm-fixed-price arrangement for core protective services, with an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity component for additional services.
The award covers protective services at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Md.; NASA's Wallops Flight facility in Virginia; the Goddard Institute for Space Studies in New York: and NASA's Independent Verification and Validation Facility in West Virginia.
NASA said Alutiiq Pacific will provide physical security and armed uniformed services, patrol operations, K-9 services, emergency medical technicians, identification management, badging and access control at the locations.
Additional services, such as security investigations, evidence collection, emergency management, incident command and response, continuity of operations, electronic security systems, locksmith services and document control will also be provided.
Initial phasing in of company protective services at the facilities begin this year.
