SAIC given Army C4 task order

MCLEAN, Va., Jan. 11 (UPI) -- A $13 million task order for C4 engineering support has been awarded to SAIC by the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command.

SAIC said the command, control, communications and computer work under the task order, which was given under the Total Engineering and Integration Services III contract vehicle, will include site surveys, systems engineering, technology support, telecommunications engineering, testing for operational acceptance and installation support.

The work will be performed at Science Applications International Corp. facilities and government project sites in South Korea and Okinawa, Japan.

"We look forward to leveraging our proven C4 systems engineering experience to support ISEC in this strategically critical region," said Tom Watson, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager.

ISEC provides systems engineering, installation, integration implementation and evaluation support for communications and information technology systems worldwide Army and U.S. Defense Department organizations.

The cost-plus-fixed-fee award has a one-year period of performance and three one-year options.
