Vistronix acquires Technology Associates

RESTON, Va., Jan. 8 (UPI) -- A Virginia company that provides information technology support services to U.S. military government entities has been acquired by Vistronix Corp.

Terms of the transaction between Vistronix and Technology Associates International Corp. weren't disclosed. SunTrust Bank's Technology and Government Division and Enlightenment Capital financed the deal.

"Our vision is to provide national security systems, solutions and services that protect our country's safety, security and economic well-being," said Deepak Hathiramani, chairman and chief executive officer for Vistronix.

"Both companies are dedicated to ingenuity, innovation and integrity, and by leveraging our past successes, Vistronix will have a greater capability to provide security solutions across multiple domains in the federal government."

Vistronix is a mid-tier company that specializes in enterprise application integration of geospatial decision support systems, systems engineering and IT service management solutions and services.

Technology Associates provides information technology support services to the U.S. Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Department of Health and Human Services and U.S. Strategic Command.
