LONDON, Dec. 10 (UPI) -- Northrop Grumman and Britain's Wynyard Group are working together to develop and market security solutions for U.S. government and commercial clients.

Wynyard, which produces solutions for protecting companies and countries from threat, crime and corruption, said Northrop will leverage its experience with U.S. government agencies to market Wynyard products.

"Joining forces with Northrop Grumman creates a compelling new market proposition and choice for Northrop Grumman's portfolio of customers in the national security, public safety, and commercial markets," said Wynyard Group Chief Executive Officer Craig Richardson.

"Our two companies complement each other's strengths. Through this relationship we will increase the breadth of solutions Northrop Grumman offers to address emerging global security challenges its customers face."

Added Edward Swallow, vice president of business development, Civil Systems, Northrop Grumman Information Systems: "Adding Wynyard's proven risk management, intelligence and investigation expertise to our capabilities makes good sense and brings additional value to our customers that require innovative, affordable, agile and technologically advanced solutions."
