ARLINGTON, Va., Nov. 27 (UPI) -- A $31 million task order has been given to CACI to provide training and simulation support to the U.S. Army Reserve.

CACI said its work for the Army Reserve's Mission Command Training Support program will involve integration of live, virtual and constructive simulations with Army Mission Command systems to give commanders a better situational understanding of unit activities and capabilities in theater.

CACI will provide pre- and post-mobilization training support that includes developing scenarios for battle simulations and integrating them with the Reserve Command's digital systems, networks and infrastructure.

"This new work with the U.S. Army Reserve Command grows CACI's training capabilities and increases our footprint in our C4ISR market," said CACI President and Chief Executive Officer Dan Allen. "It is a strong demonstration of our success in pursuing new business that aligns with our nation's highest priorities -- in this case, assuring mission readiness for our armed forces."

The task order contract is for three years -- one base year of performance and two one-year options.
