WASHINGTON, Nov. 16 (UPI) -- Management consulting firm KM Systems Group will support the U.S. Department of Energy under a five-year blanket purchase agreement.
KM is part of the MELEMAX Team, which is comprised of select companies with a proven record of quality performance and dedication at the DOE and National Nuclear Security Administration.
The team was recently awarded the blanket purchase agreement for technical, problematic and engineering support services .
The BPA, which has a maximum value of $300 million, covers the areas of program management support; nuclear engineering; security management support; weapons data access system programmatic support; emergency operations support; nuclear non-proliferation; and environmental management.
"KMSG already has a successful track record providing effective earned value management systems for Department of Energy Laboratories," said said Dave Scott, KMSG managing director. "The execution of this BPA enables a unique partnership between the MELEMAX team members' broad range of capabilities and DOE experience with KMSG's EVM expertise.
"The BPA is a critically important contract vehicle for the DOE to accelerate support for major programs. In addition, the BPA enables the DOE to engage small businesses with unique capabilities like EVM."
