ARLINGTON, Va., Sept. 25 (UPI) -- The U.S. Defense Intelligence Agency has given BAE Systems a $17.5 million task order for information technology integration services.
The Next Generation Knowledge Base Design and Systems Integration Services task order contract was awarded under the Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise contract vehicle awarded the company in 2010.
"We are delivering secure, cost-efficient services to maintain and enhance the mission-critical systems the DIA relies on every day," said Paul Falkler, a vice president and general manager at BAE Systems' Intelligence and Security sector.
"We are one of the largest IT service providers to the DIA and this new work expands our partnership."
Under the task order, BAE Systems will provide systems integration services the agency required to design, develop, engineer, install, acquire and sustain information technology resources.
