ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 31 (UPI) -- The acquisition of Infoscitex Corp., a Massachusetts technology company, by DCS Corp. has been completed.

DCS, which provides technology and management solutions to government agencies in the national security sector, said the transaction expands and enhances its services in areas such as modeling, simulation and analysis, human bio-dynamics research, advanced manned and unmanned air vehicle systems, material science solutions, software development and cyber-domain techniques.

"The completion of the IST transaction constitutes an exciting and significant step toward furthering DCS's ability to provide broad, technically superior solutions to customers in the Department of Defense and intelligence community," said James T. Wood, DCS chairman and chief executive officer.

"We are proud to welcome the highly skilled Infoscitex employees to DCS. Their expertise, commitment, and customer focus make them a great fit for our company and culture."

IST, with offices in Massachusetts and Ohio, will continue its operations as a DCS subsidiary.
