Air Force task order for UAV sales support

ALEXANDRIA, Va., Aug. 21 (UPI) -- A U.S. Air Force task order has been given to DCS Corp. to support the service's international sales of the Global Hawk unmanned aerial vehicle.

The task order, under an Acquisition of Consolidated Enterprise Support Services contract, is for a three-year period and is valued at $6.2 million, including the exercise of priced option.

DCS said that under the Global Hawk Foreign Military Sales order, it will provide administrative and program management, configuration and data management, engineering and logistics support.

"This win represents DCS's first successful bid under the ACCESS contract vehicle," said Dave Russell, president and chief operating officer of DCS. "We welcome this opportunity to provide superior technical solutions to Global Hawk International Programs."

Work awarded under the task order will be performed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.

ACCESS is a three-year, multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to supports the goals, objectives and priorities of organizations at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. It carries a total value of about $950 million.
