ALEXANDRIA, Va., July 30 (UPI) -- Delivery orders for continued support of U.S. Foreign Military Sales for Egypt, Turkey and Taiwan have been given to VSE Corp.'s International Group.

The orders come under an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quality Naval Ship Transfer and Repair contract through the Naval Sea Systems Command International Fleet Support Program. The combined value is more than $19.4 million.

VSE said that, under one order, it will provide logistics, planning and engineering services to modernize and improve the infrastructure at the Egyptian Naval Base of Abu Quir to support the newly constructed U.S. Built Fast Missile Craft, which is to enter service after 2013.

Technical services and material procurement in direct support of the Turkish navy's Evolved Sea Sparrow Missile upgrade program will be continue to be performed for Turkey under the second order. Ships involved are Turkey's G class missile frigates, which are former U.S. Navy vessels, and MEKO Track II class ships.

VSE said the third delivery order is for overhaul services and in-country technical assistance to the Navy of Taiwan for its Ma Kong (DDG-1805) destroyer. The Kee Lung class guided missile destroyer is the former USS Chandler. Logistics support services for two former U.S. Navy coastal mine hunter vessels will also be provided.

"VSE and our entire N*STAR Team are proud to continue our FMS work for the U.S. Navy and our allies," said International Group President Harry Flammang. "These diverse delivery order awards are indicative of the partnership and trust that exists between our International Group's GLOBAL Division and our Navy customer."
