DENVER, July 16 (UPI) -- The U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic added Global Technology Resources Inc. to its contractor list for COTS equipment and services.

GTRI, which is working with Norseman Defense Technologies, will be eligible under a firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to provide commercial off-the-shelf material/equipment and incidental services for strategic and tactical platforms used by SSC.

Services will include support of systems engineering, integration and large-scale fabrication.

"Non-Developmental Item procurement and interim repair and maintenance (i.e. standard rack components, cases, standard software products) that support production and integration processes" will also be provided by the company, it said.

SSC Atlantic is responsible for the acquisition, integration, fielding and logistics support of multiple platform systems for the U.S. Department of Defense and a number of federal civilian agencies.

"GTRI is thrilled to add this contract to our portfolio of prime federal contracts. We are especially proud to continue our support of US Navy SSC Atlantic Contracting team and their clients," said Barb Beckner, director of Capture Management at GTRI.

Norseman is a small, woman-owned business in Maryland that provides enterprise IT solutions, products and services.
