DynCorp wins USAF support orders

FALLS CHURCH, Va., July 13 (UPI) -- DynCorp International has announced the receipt of three U.S. Air Force task orders worth a total of $13.2 million for services in the United States and abroad.

The first task order, which comes through the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program III, is for support to the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado by augmenting the capabilities and efforts of the local fire department. The order has a 196-day base performance period.

The second task order is for maintenance, repair and limited minor construction of fire alarm systems and fire suppression systems in various base facilities supporting the Air Force in the United Arab Emirates.

DI was the incumbent on this task order, which was awarded in May. It has a one-year base period and two one-year options.

DynCorp said starting next month it will provide vehicle maintenance and materiel control support to the Air Force in Afghanistan.
