MCLEAN, Va., July 5 (UPI) -- U.S. company ITT Exelis says it will be displaying a full range of its advanced electronic defense technologies at the 2012 Farnborough Air Show in England.

Technologies from its electronic warfare, radar and reconnaissance, and geospatial systems will include its Advanced Integrated Defensive Electronic Warfare Suite used on F-16s and its upgraded electronic warfare system used on AH-64 Apache helicopters.

Also on show will be the company's Wide Area Persistent Radar solution for real-time imagery collection, storage and dissemination; and its coastal surveillance systems.

"Farnborough brings interested customers and partners from all around the world to one location; this is a unique opportunity for us to bring our innovative and ready-now technologies to this large, diverse market," said Bob Durbin, vice president of Exelis government relations.

"A top priority for us is to proactively help our customers by identifying problems and providing affordable, mission-critical solutions. We work closely with our customers and partners to address their evolving needs and today's global and today's global security challenges."

The Farnborough Air Show begins Monday.

ITT Exelis spun off from the ITT Corp. last year, and this will be its first appearance at the show.
