HERSTAL, Belgium, June 6 (UPI) -- A Belgian small arms company and a French manufacturer of armored vehicles are showcasing product cooperation.

FN Herstal said its remote weapons stations will be featured in displays of armored vehicles by Renault Trucks Defense at the international Eurosatory trade show in Paris, France, which begins Monday.

A VAB Mk II 4x4 vehicle will be equipped with FN Herstal's deFNder Medium Remote Weapon Station. The deFNder Medium will be fitted with a .50-caliber FN M3P machine gun, which can fire 1,100 rounds per minute.

Renault Trucks' Higuard Mine Protected Ambush Resistant vehicle will be outfitted with FN's deFNder Light Remote Weapon Station. FN Herstal said the deFNder Light will be equipped with a 7.62x51mm MAG machine gun.

Both deFNder weapons stations feature unique elevation and depression angles depending on weapon type, the company said, and can accept a large number of user-defined features and options.

In addition to their integration on the Renault trucks, the weapons stations and weapons will also be on display at FN Herstal's own booth at the show.
