FALLS CHURCH, Va., May 3 (UPI) -- The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration has given DynCorp International its Diamond Award for Excellence for its support of two U.S. Air Force programs.

The logistics support was for C-21A and C-20 programs, under which DynCorp maintains LearJet 35A, Gulfstream III and Gulfstream IV distinguished visitor airlift aircraft at 12 locations worldwide.

The award for C-21A program support was the fourth consecutive one given to DynCorp under the FAA's Aviation Maintenance Technician Award program, which recognizes completion by 100 percent of an organization's eligible maintenance technicians of specialized, continuous training in aircraft systems, regulations and FAA rules over a 12-month period and their demonstrated commitment to safety.

"The award recognizes our dedication to continuous training and employee development," said Jeffrey Roth, C-21A CLS program director. "With multiple operating locations, this is an additional measure to baseline and improves our training process.

"To be recognized for our training commitment by the FAA with their highest award for four straight years is significant."
