HUNT VALLEY, Md., April 26 (UPI) -- AAI Logistics and Technical services is to provide maintenance training in the United Arab Emirates for C-17 Globemaster aircraft.
The services will be performed for the Advanced Military Maintenance Repair Overhaul Center, which is a joint venture owned by Mubadala Aerospace, Sikorsky Aircraft Corp. and Lockheed Martin.
"Our courseware is developed specifically for maintainers, not just adapted from aircrew training," said AAI Logistics and Technical Services Senior Vice President and General Manager Diane Giuliani.
"Over our many years of C-17 maintenance training experience, we've also modularized the courseware so we can tailor a training program for each customer's requirements. The result is comprehensive, affordable and easy to implement, right off the shelf."
AAI's training for AMMROC mechanical and avionics technicians will include classroom work with AAI's modular C-17 maintenance training courseware as well as hands-on instruction with the aircraft.
AAI instructors include former U.S. Air Force instructors and former C-17 maintenance training instructors.
