
HERNDON, Va., April 25 (UPI) -- The U.S. Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Atlantic has added GTSI Corp. to its roll of companies for procurement of ISR, IO and IA equipment and services.
The contract is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm fixed-price vehicle.
Under the award, the company is eligible for orders to obtain commercial off-the-shelf intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance , information operations and information awareness equipment for SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic.
Included are communications infrastructure, digitizers, GPS tactical workstations, video surveillance and tactical local area networking equipment and selected sensors.
About nine companies are on the rolls to provide the services. The cumulative value of the contracts is an estimated $500 million.
"We are pleased to be able to continue our support to SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic," said GTSI, Chief Operating Officer Jeremy Wensinger. "This award allows GTSI to widen its business of supporting naval engineering customers."
